Having worked in the life insurance industry for over 35 years I have always had the most pleasure when working with financial advisers and assisting them with technical support on all life insurance matters.

My business provides independent life insurance technical support specifically designed for financial planners who want independent assistance with their life insurance queries. This is a unique service, providing a life insurance support service like no other.

My career experience has traversed a number of roles: Deputy Vice Chancellor, diplomat, Head of the Office of Public Sector Management in Victoria, CEO of the Victorian Audit Office and international consultant for both the Asian Development Bank and World Bank and currently, managing director of Quark Consulting Pty Ltd.

Having directed more than 200 performance audits in the public sector, I’m aware of the often-daunting complexity and difficulty citizens face when making insurance claims: and in an industry where integrity and transparency are often treated as optional extras. Insurance Claims Solutions strikes the right business balance between its own commercial acumen and its mission to deal with clients with integrity and to secure for them the best possible outcomes.

Peter brings 25+ years of senior leadership across banking, financial services, government and the not-for-profit sector — with deep expertise in insurance product management, commercial strategy and regulatory reform.
He has led teams of 120+ in complex, regulated environments, including as Head of Retail Bank for ANZ Vanuatu, and held senior insurance and wealth management roles at BankWest where he launched seven new products and delivered a 110% uplift in general insurance sales. Peter’s edge is translating strategy into tactics that make sense to the people who execute them — combining analytical rigour with genuine stakeholder engagement. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Curtin) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
He currently serves as Senior Advisor Corporate Services at ANFIUWP and as Treasurer of Strata Plan 68022.
